Losing 20 plus pounds on Weight Watchers or WW!

It’s been a while! I finally decided to try and lose some more weight and a few I had gain!! I also decided to watch a lot of YouTubers – try Weight Watchers again – or WW as it is now called.

WW is now a green, blue, or purple plan that a person can choose which program they want to do. So, I tried the green program but shortly found out it is not the same program I used it to initially lose 20 pounds. That program is smart points and fits me so well. Here is the calculator I use now, which is free!

I also saw that Weight Watchers had fired thousands of employees with a Zoom call, and I thought they should have found a different way to fire employees. The employees stated their side was muted, and they were not allowed to speak. It gave me a bad taste in my mouth since WW is supposed to be a company about relationships. I know they had to downsize, but there had to be a better way.

I also have followed other Weight Watcher success stories or almost their stories on YouTube, which is so inspiring! See Mindy Mom is one who is on maintenance and will do different videos throughout the week! Here is one of her latest videos.

All of this has allowed me to get to my lowest weight in YEARS! I am 4.4 away from my goal weight and 14.4 away from my lowest weight ever! It’s fantastic since I have gone through menopause and never thought I would have been below a certain weight! I have lost a total of 21.2 pounds using the original Weight Watchers smart points.

I am super thankful that God has encouraged me through other WW members who have done it or are doing it!

  1. Good luck with the weight loss and thanks for the follow. I didn’t realise WW had reduced their consultants and staff, but what a horrible way to do it.
    I’m with SW who have been doing Zoom group meetings, but I’m phoning in my weight every week as I’m not techno savvy. Since 2016 I’ve lost almost three stone, but had a glitch in between 2017 and 2019 so have managed to lose the gain in that time but no more. I’m at target now and have been since August last year. I’m finding it tougher now to maintain it as I’m allowed a few extras, which tend to stretch to more extras than I should have!!
